I understand the custom keyword feature, but I am having trouble with the auto-interlinking. Here is my issue. I will not be duplicating titles. I am optimizing each post or page with unique keywords. I may repeat some of the keywords in the other posts, but not in the titles. I also would like to link within the same category. Is there any way I can use this feature taking into account what I stated above?

When I use the custom keyword feature to interlink, it becomes very difficult. It is difficult to choose keywords that are only relevant to a particular category. For example, if I put blog as a custom keyword and mentioned it in another category, it would link there also.

I've read the manual, but I'm kind of stuck trying to figure out a strategy. Could use any input. Thanks

Are you saying to pick a few keywords out of the post and include them in custom keywords? Would this not cause interlinking between categories? I may be misunderstanding what you are referring to.

Now I see. Thanks for the information. So I would set the auto linking and then set additional keywords within the post. If I choose to link within categories only in the global settings, will the post only link to keywords if used in the category?
