Most Popular WordPress Plugin Authors

According to latest top list, I  have made it to number #10 spot of most popular WordPress authors judging by the number of plugin downloads. According to this statistic, in little over a year I released 14 of them or one every 26 days on average. My plugins were downloaded around quarter of million times or a roughly 700 downloads each day.  Most popular plugin has been Smart Youtube.

Style up your website with this hot tip: Use Safari browser!
Yes that is right. For some reason Safari's font rendering engine makes the web sites look much better than IE, Firefox, Chrome or Opera. And Safari is now available for PC as well. Do it Yourself: Optimize your WordPress Page Headings

This is second article in the "Do it yourself" series and this one will be about heading tags. Most theme authors still do not pay particular attention to the layout and usage of header tags (H1, H2, H3...) in theme layouts. From the HTML optimization perspective, H1 is the most essential page tag and should appear as first on the page, and only once. H2 tags is next in hierarchy and you can have several of them on the page. Below each H2 you can have several H3 tags and so forth.
