Fantastic new plugin: Front End Editor

I always wanted to create a plugin that allows me to edit the posts from front-end, through some kind of Ajax interface but never had the time to write it. However, I have just found a plugin that does exactly that and it's lightweight, fast and does the advertised. It is called Front End Editor. To use it, just double click the post or title area and inline text editor will appear where you can edit the post directly without going into the admin panel. Great for fixing those typos.

Is your search engine traffic declining?

I've noticed this trend on several sites I monitor analytics for. Since the New Year, search engine traffic has been steadily declining. On some sites despite best SEO efforts it's been steady. I think the following image offers an explaination.People are simply searching less! It could be the economic recession. People do not have time to surf the web, or simply the money to pay for Internet.

Video posts and comments – the future of blogging

Maybe you heard about it, maybe not - but there are already some pretty cool ways to easilly add video posts and comments to your blog. First one is service called Seesmic. In fact I have it installed it already and it's a very, very cool way to interact. Check it out yourself (click the add a video comment below the comment box). Very cool thing about Seesmic is that you do not have to register to their service, you can just make the video (or voice if you dont have camera) comment and post it.

Google Chrome 2.0 beta is faster than light! I really mean it..

No I mean really fast. Really fast like in what browsing should be all about fast. Check out Chrome 2 beta for yourself. I am addicted. I am writing this post in Chrome and its beautiful. Don't get me wrong, I still use Firefox as my main tool. The main reason are Firefox extensions like xMarks and Firebug (and my SEO Doctor soon to be released :) But soon the Chrome will start to catch up with extensions and it will all come to speed. And Chrome has tons of it.
