Good Advice about Time Management

It's a really quick one but worth a ton of gold (at least). Whenever you can trade money for time - do it, it's worth it. You may accumulate great wealth in your life but you have only so much time. And money becomes kind of obsolete when you run out of time.

Give a hand to Steve Rogers

Recently I had the pleasure to meet the gentleman by the name of Steve Rogers. Steve is passionate about cars and has recently started a business where he uses his great knowledge of automobile industry to help people find a good car and a good deal. Basically you tell Steve your budget and what type of car you are after and Steve will look through all car advertisements and find the one best suited for you.

Conceding Victory

I found an interesting article on my flight to London on the on-board magazine. It was about a neat psychological persuasion trick. Imagine you are approached one day by someone introducing themselves as a local youth centre worker. They want to persuade you to become a volunteer. In fact, they have a specific task in mind: “Would you be willing to escort a group of children on a trip o the zoo this weekend?”.

New review of my book

David Carr published a review of my WordPress plugin development book on CIOZone.com. But this book convinced me WordPress can be extended to do just about anything I would want to do on the web. Once I had done the tour through Prelovac's examples, I found it much easier to start looking through the code of other publicly-available plug-ins and figuring out how they work as well.
