Adding version to theme CSS file

This is a small trick I've been using on a number of sites where far expiration dates have been set on the server to improve browsing performance. Basically if you often do any changes to your CSS (like me) the old version of the file will normally be served to your visitors as the cache expiration header is set to a far future time. To remedy this we need to add a parameter to CSS file URL that will make it distinct every time you change it.

How long have I been here

I threw a party to celebrate my 10,000th day of life which happened in 2004 (thats around when you are 27). I am very disappointed I missed my one billionth second of life which happened last year in July (happens when you are 32). Not to miss any of these days here is a script to help calculate them. How long have I lived thus far? Your Date of Birth in following format Day-Month-Year (example: 23-11-1984) :When will I reach this number of days or seconds?

It involved what I now call a 'floating paragraph' above the page title with some introduction text. The first thing I did was to consult the greatest mind on the Internet when it comes to all web related issues – no, not Vlad – but Google (witty, witty).

Here is another guest post by Brian explaining how to tweak the home page display. Many people new to blogging and WordPress, and some intermediates, are a little confused about what actually is their home page.Let us start by defining the home page in the greater scheme of things. The home page is the first page a browser opens when directed at a website or when the website’s "home" button is pressed.
