Change sometimes needs a little push
I’ve been quite busy lately with all the ongoing work I’ve been doing. That “lately” spans for over then 6 months and I am waiting for the little lagoon of peace for a while.
I am kind of person that leads a pretty busy life. A lot of assignments and engagements both on personal and business sides of life. I also developed the nasty habit to constantly check my email, my blog and other websites over my mobile phone. Whenever I am in a queue or in public transport, during movies if they are boring even during social events (again if I find my self bored which used to happen more and more). The habit is very nasty as one should really separate work from personal life and not let be overwhelmed by one. The simple thing to do was convince myself to stop checking my emails on the phone but that was next to impossible.
Then, few days ago, I accidentally sat on my jacket with the phone and set of keys in my pocket. The keys damaged the phone’s display beyond usability, although the phone itself was still functional. I went to service for display replacement and while I was there they offered me to flash the phone with newest firmware. Being a “techie” my eyes glanced and I accepted.
When I was back for the phone, I realized they indeed flashed the phone with new firmware but in the process eliminating all my information by mistake, and they didn’t make a backup. Contacts, sms messages and all internet and email settings were lost for good. You can imagine how it felt at first.

Change in life is like water ripples
Now, several days later, I am feeling a big relief for what happened. I am restoring contacts slowly as people call me and I have a need to call someone. The lack of email and internet settings is bringing a small lagoon of peace I was needing. I don’t annoy people around me anymore to check or write an email, I do it at home when it’s time for that.
Good change in life is like water ripples. It starts small but then spreads.
Talk about change, did you also remove EntreCard widget?
Yes I did. It was fun for start but I do not like a foreign “body” on my blog. So it had to go..
Aw, too bad.
But that’s ok, I’m adding you to my RSS feed instead. :-)
