Entrecard is a cool new widget for your blog that allows you to easily network with other bloggers or site owners. The service homepage is www.entrecard.com.
Basically what you do is make an electronic business card of your site with your logo and url. You can then leave your own card whenever you see an Entrecard box. By doing that you notify the site owner of your site and also you get one entrecard credit. Whenever someone drops their card to your box, you also get one credit. For credits you can "buy" advertisement space on other sites and your logo will stay on the site for one day. Very simple, free and friendly. Sign up and drop me a card!
I liked the idea so much I created a WordPress plugin that will ease the process of using Entrecard. The plugin is called Entrecard Me! and it is very easy to use. Just paste the code from Entrecard in the options menu and you are ready. Plugin is widget enabled, so you can easilly place it in your widget manager. Or if your theme does not support widgets, you can use direct code.
