Thanks. I was able to figure it out. i deleted this code in the header.php file

<?php wp_list_categories('orderby=count&show_count=0&hierarchical=0&number=4&title_li=&depth=1'); ?>

Oh darn…I was hoping this post was about my question…but it's not.

First off…I LOVE your AG theme!  I actually BOUGHT a couple themes and YOURS is the one I'm using.  It is soooo easy to load, manipulate, and it looks the best too.

Here is my lame, newbie question about these category headers:  I found the wp_list_categories code in my header.php….but I do not know how to use this to my advantage.  I followed a link you provided to wordpress…but still, I cannot follow the tech-logic.  <sigh>

I'm trying to change those 4 tabs so that they will list 4 specific categories.  Is there a simplified way to learn this?

I find that this topic comes up quite often.  Hopefully I can help explain.

1. Go to Design>Theme Editor>Header.php
2. Locate the code <?php wp_list_categories('number=5&exclude=&orderby=name& (and so on).
3. Replace the above with something like <?php wp_list_categories('number=5&show_count=0&hierarchical=0&title_li=&orderby=name&include=5,8,13,21'); ?> 
4. In the “include=” parm, replace with the category numbers of the categories you wish to display.
5. If you can not find category numbers, download the Reveal IDs for WP Admin Plugin

Your specific categories should now display in alphabetic order from left to right.
