Installed your plug in today to overcome the iPad youtube problem. I have heard all about Flash and HTML5 etc.
The plug in is working fine on web browsers but the reason for my post is obviously the iPad.
Myself and two friends have been testing this all day on our iPads. Our initial findings were that it didn't work on the iPad.
However after hours of chasing the problem… what we are now collectivity agreed on is that we can all and only….get the videos to play
if we touch the iPad screen just off or on the very bottom of the left hand corner of the video imprint. Average iPad user would fail 95% of the time.
Any idea what that can mean?
I have tried centring the video on the page and or reducing reducing their initial dimensions etc but the only trick that works on 3 iPads is to touch bottom left of the video footprint…and it works for all videos on my site.
I wont waste your time with possible scenarios as I'm a novice but what do you think?
Brilliant that you have delivered this plug in so no negative feedback intended. Is it a bug or my template or something?
Hi Vladimir, I have been using Smart Youtube for a long time. Today all my youtube vids on my site: http://hdr360pro.com/ which were woking fine on my iPhone 4 and on the iPad are now not working on either one. sometimes the sound will play but not the video… Sometines the video appears to be loading then just a black box. Every thing is normal on the Mac. I am connected via wi-fi for the i-devices. Strange. Seemed like all was well just yesterday. Any idea whats wrong? Thanks, Richard
