It has come to my attention that after using this plugin for well over a year and enjoying it, that the latest update has totally borked the loading of my site and many others. What would usually take 2-3 seconds to load now pushes pushes pages up into the 30 – 1 minute mark to load. I'm just wondering if anyone else here has run into this issue or if it's just related to what's going on. I do have several other plugins, but the site loads fine apart from when smart tube is enabled.
I don't think it's a conflict, I have a feeling it's more of a resource overload from this script. Usually if a conflict is apparent it's fairly obvious, but this is just a little irritating as I have quite a few videos loaded through this script.
SmartYoutube has an extremely low footprint. In fact it is used on my site and hundreds of thousands of others. The only way you can tell is to measure the page loading speed with the plugin turned on and off.
