I am trying to delete / change / overwrite the themes installed using YOUR plugin and I cannot delete them. There is some serious problem with the plugin. Please rectify it and tell me a way to delete the themes.
Thre is a specific problem on some hosting servers where the permissisons are not set properly and it manifests as you have described. Just ask your hosting to delete these files for you and fix your permissions.
Hello! I was just lurking through, on the continuing search for the right update for my website, and was wondering what you'd discovered in this situation. Having to call GoDaddy is always successful but does take some time out of the day.

Thanks for that quick reply. The problem is, I can delete the rest of the files from themes directory. Not the ones installed with your plugin.
I have asked the host to delete the files for me. Let's see what happens.

Sorry to bother you again. Still cannot delete the themes. I contacted my host, even they are not able to delete the themes. :-(

Your hosting is always able to delete files (if they say no they are just not telling you the truth).
I am still not sure why this problem appears but I am inspecting it.
