When this plugin is enabled, it uses the active theme in the write panel, or edit page panel. Is there a way to make this use the page template selection from the theme seleceted in your plugin vs. the active one for all users?
But if I would like to tentatively disable the test drive so that I can make a change to the current theme, will it erase my changes? Or if I select the current theme in the test drive, will it make those changes live?
I am using Theme Test Drive to test a theme, and it looks great, I can see my them. When I go to edit my Page, though, I cannot change the Page Template to one that exists in my test theme.
I'm having the same problem as BKJ Productions. I would like to be able to view the different Page Templates of my new theme. It appears that the Page Template options are not appearing when Theme Test Drive is running. Is there a way to fix this?

Unfortunately no, because the tested theme completly replaces functionality of original theme – that is the whole point.
