I too would like to use an image the goes across the screen instead of the color image that repeats. Anyone have any luck with this- I would specifically need to know how to change the size of the image in the stylesheet so that my image would show up right.
I loved what you did to that banner, it is outstanding! I had to look for a few seconds to remember the image I had in mind of Amazing Grace, when I saw the background color, then I was connected. I am trying to find a way to add a logo in far upper left corner in the banner. I am green as grass, could you tell me how to do that please?
I'm an inexperienced webdesigner. I'm doing one so I could finally have a site for my start-up practice. Can someone please help me (if possible step-by-step) how to change the picture on the header of "Amazing Grace" wordpress theme? I understand that there's some coding needed on the style sheet. If anyone could help me share the code. And – not sure where I should be storing the images that I want to upload for the picture. Please guide me on this as well.

Hi, I wish to add an old paper texture in the header instead of change the color. How can I do that?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Niki,
The header area is made up of an image constantly repeated across the screen. The image is called 'bg' and is in the theme images folder.
You can change that but any change in name, size and file format the css file has to be altered as well.
That isn't a difficult job but you need to know what set of figures changes what.
Have a go and get back to us, sounds an interesting idea, please leave a site address too so we can check it out.

Like this: http://www.naturespromise.org
To do this, I created a header image, replaced the bg.jpg image and made some adjustments to the css.

Hi All.

pBrain, I really love what you did on http://www.naturespromise.org.
Can anyone also tell me how to select to not have comment field on some pages/posts?
Appreciate your response.
