I followed your excellent instructions for including a logo in the Amazing Grace theme header, which worked flawlessly. However, when it comes to hiding the old blog name, I can't just shift the margin as you did in your example (my logo is transparent), so I want to use the second option: setting it to the header background color. Only problem – I'm not sure where to find that color code. (Using the Photoshop eyedropper and the PSD file, I got something close, but not exactly the same.)
Help! What's the color code for the header background? Thanks in advance. :)
The title of the blog is called .btitle in the stylesheet.
but the header back ground is a gradient of colours, so one colour fix alone wont solve it. You'll have to modify the bg image in the image folder of the theme as well.

Heather,
The title of the blog is called .btitle in the stylesheet.
but the header back ground is a gradient of colours, so one colour fix alone wont solve it. You'll have to modify the bg image in the image folder of the theme as well.
