Everything is possible on wordpress but unfortunately the changes you need to make to see the comments in the place of the dates are a matter of some serious changes to the code. Vlad has them here on this site because…. well…. he can do it. But it isn't a standard feature on the theme.
Your website is looking good. A few tweaks here and there will tidy some loose ends up.
If it is something you have your heart set on then There is a market place here in the forum.

Is there an option in BlueGrace to remove the Date icon and add a Comments Counter (number of comments received) .

One more thing.
In the css, play with the sidebar H4 margin-left and margin-right and the padding-left figures to center your blue boxes and the text better.
