Hi IS there an option to have single column in the beginning so that I can have some wide banners and then going down , continue with double column ? or start with double column and then going down can I have a single column ?

Hi Girish,
There is no standard option to do that. However it isnt difficult to do if you know your way around the themes files and can adjust the css.
Go to sidebar.php and put your 'div id' just below the one for the whole sidebar. Then in the stylesheet make your space a suitable size.
