According to my WordPress dashboard, there are no widgets in my right sidebar (www.schmoozyfox.com), but both Recent Posts and Tags are nevertheless displayed there, without me having installed any text widgets. Can anyone recommend a way to remove them from there, as I want to install recent posts in the left sidebar instead. Tried to play around the sidebar.php file, but messed everything up.

Hey Schmoozy
The widgets you see are there by default….. so when there are no widgets selected they are ALWAYS there.
Simply select the widgets you want (by going in through the dashboard options appearance/widgets … leave the theme editor alone).
Good luck.
