hello, I have wp-wall running on a site on my server which gets maybe 50 unique visitors a day, its a site for friends, hosting a forum and the wp-wall used as a shoutbox refreshing every 5 seconds.
a couple of days ago the server freaked out, every day between 10-14 which is the time when most of these friends are online and start chatting via wp-wall.
I was just wodnering if this could bring down a dedicated server? I mean I am just guessing here, will analyse the problem later with logifles and so on after work, but the load jumps from 0.5 to around 70!!!
I dout that your plugin is the issue still I had to raise the question.
I am currently examining the logs. If I can't find anything I'll have to find a way to use ssh during work hours just to check in real time what exactly is happening :-(
