Greetings from the Northern Territory of Australia.
I'm having a slight problem with Wall and Gravatars. If one leaves a comment via the Widget, their gravatar does not show on the wall page. Instead there seems to be a standard default one, that looks like this:
If one then views the comment queue in the admin section, said gravatar is there. It just doesn't seem to make it to the Page.
However, if one leaves a comment on the actual Wall Page, the gravatar shows up with no problems.
I'm using WP 2.6 and your own Amazing Grace theme (which I think is very cool, BTW).
hen you comment on the page itsself, you are entering a username and email address, when commenting on the widget, you do not enter an email address so where would the ravatar be connected to the commenting user?
I also would love to have gravatars, but I guess its not possible at this stage :-(

Hmmm… Good point. I hadn't thought of that. Make sense, though.
I remembered that I once asked vladimir how he solved the problems other shoutboxes had with entering an email address and he replied he solved it by skipping over it – that gave me the latest hint.
well I woudl liek to display avatars on teh wall page, there is enough space.
I'd also liek to try to display them very, very small in the shoutbox, I have seen such small avatars in teh mybloglog community, and if that doesn't work out, I'll just enable them on the wall page not the shoutbox.

You can check it out at http://testbed.alanindarwin.com/ which is a test site with not a lot on it.
This is nothing world shattering event, but it would be nice to be able to show
peep's gravatars for them.
Leave it with you.

took me a week to figure that out :-)
I remembered that I once asked vladimir how he solved the problems other shoutboxes had with entering an email address and he replied he solved it by skipping over it – that gave me the latest hint.

And the mystery unveils :)
It's like ovidiu said and I plan on adding gravatars but where in the earth you plan to display them people? Everything is so crumpled already.

Email field added in 1.0 this allows to display gravatars as well with a bit of fiddling.
