I have the wall on my sidebar and it works perfectly. Therefore I decided to publish it as a page. When I did that, the page came up however there were no comments on there and now ay to add comments either. What came up was a blank page. How may I allow it to come up as a page? I am running wordpress version 2,6.
I had Wall running. I got the notification that an update was available, and I choose for automatic upgrade. Since then, the page is empty (besides the placeholder).
After that I:
- removed the page and published again – No Result
- Deactivated and activated the plugin – No Result
- Deactivated AND removed the page, then activated the plugin – No Result
I had a problem that seemed very similar, maybe its silly but maybe it helps:
I had no comments/shouts showing up on my shoutbox page although I had plenty of shouts in the shoutbox itsself. I had no idea what was wrong, but then, I had a look at my page.php the template responsible for rendering the pages, and there was no mentioning of comments.php so basically the part containing the comments was never loaded.
I never bothered checking the original theme but I can't imagine someone offering a template for download without having the possiblity to comment on pages.
I jsut inserted the comment code, like I found inside my single.php and thats it.
Could you, those with blank pages, just check if comments are called inside your page template?

That's strange.. Do you still have only one page named WP Wall when you go to Manage->Pages?

Great!! That's it!
The stupid thing is I changed the theme at the same time :-)
Another question. The comments are sorted in the wrong order (the last comment is at the bottom). Any way to change this (last comment on top)
Thanks,
Anton

Ah to sort comments in a reverse order and also add comment paging I use http://blog.2i2j.com/plugins/wp-paged-comments

So what problem are you talking about? The one that comments do not show on the wall page? Or the one to change the comment sort order?
Both had a suggested solution – did you check the page template your wall page is using?
