It is about a young boy who escaped a prison camp, with the help of his captor, who used to love David's mother. The man was being transferred to another camp and knew that David would not fare well under his new captor's watch. The captor told him to go to Denmark, which was a long ways away. He gave him a compass and told him to keep going north. It is a great film, but I was wondering if you had seen it so you might be able to confirm if one of the places David visited in his travels was not this very place in your photo. It looks so familiar, but perhaps there is more than one lovely place like this in that part of the world. Have you ever seen the movie David?
