No I mean really fast. Really fast like in what browsing should be all about fast. Check out Chrome 2 beta for yourself. I am addicted. I am writing this post in Chrome and its beautiful.
Don't get me wrong, I still use Firefox as my main tool. The main reason are Firefox extensions like xMarks and Firebug (and my SEO Doctor soon to be released :)
But soon the Chrome will start to catch up with extensions and it will all come to speed. And Chrome has tons of it. Browsing my site with Chrome is unreal experience. No page opens in more than half a second. Like Google search results. It is so good it's addictive.
Guess what, WordPress back-end also flies. Looks like Gears and "Turbo" mode work automatically? Hmm... I like it even more now.
Two more things I like about Chrome. It starts up instantly. Especially when already cached. Second, the SSL certificates are handled with one click, unlike in Firefox (5-6 clicks?).
And finally, did I mention I also like Safari? Safari is not as fast but it renders sites beautifully. So there is still room for Chrome to improve - Safari's rendering engine (and vice verse ;)
It will be an interesting year for browser battles.

Firefox better get on the ball and speed up. Chrome will make for a more pleasureful experience for our visitors to our websites. It's truly much faster and more fun. Plus, I can't believe the progress that Safari has made. Thanks for the Super Articles. I get busy and forget the world is moving on without me until I get you email.

I haven't but I am sure they will fix it up. It's Google after all, they can't sleep at nights if they are not best at all they do.
Thanks for compliments ;)
Have you had any luck with developing any extensions for Chrome yet? Their developer site is anything BUT user friendly - kinda disappointing, so I gave up, I like my Ubiquity stuff too much :D
BTW pleased to discover you have such a nice blog going on here :-)
