I think startups are great. That's what makes me feel excited to start another one :)
I have always been into gaming, either playing games or creating them. And I have always dreamed of having a game studio. Now I am in the position to make that dream come true.
I have gathered team of 13 people (we are still hiring) that are working on releasing our first title for Apple's iPad. It will be an educational game for kids, hidden object engine, with a twist.
This is what the game looks after one month of development. Working title is Starkey & Peggy's Great Adventure.
We expect over 40 levels of fun, great animations and fabulous sounds to keep the child engaged and learning about urban surrounding, forest, sea and mountains.
Hey! I am also looking for a suitable name for the new company. Help me pick the best!

Hi Vlad, First of all, thank you for creating a beautiful WordPress theme that I was using for my personal website for several years, it was the best theme I've seen online.
I know you named a company already, and possibly I am too late, but I would call a game company "Rainbow Elephant" if I had a gaming company. Logo would display an elephant (similar to Evernote logo) in colors of a rainbow. In my opinion it will give you enough freedom to go into any direction, especially educational games for kids. My son doesn't speak yet but knows how to use his ipad. =)
The domain is occupied, but it's not a big deal, really. Could be a regional domain or .net, most of people would search for it in an AppStore, and Rainbow Elephant sounds very appealing to me as a parent.
This is funny - I just looked at the video in your game release article - it has a rainbow in it. Oh, and you do develop iPad games for kids. Funny.

Od ponudjenih meni se najvise svidja "Gaming Byte", ali i "Prelovac Games" zvuci dobro :)

Pozdrav Vladimire, nadam se da nisam zakasnio sa sugestijama , kratko i jasno PRELO bez games , media itd. ne moras uopste naglasavati da se radi o gaming kompaniji jer mozda u buducnosti promenis kurs i pocnes da radis aplikacije i onda ti to "games" mozda i zasmeta , PRELO je zvucno kratko i unikatno ime,lako se pamti , googla itd. a i ima vise smisla pogotovo ako ti se glavna kompanija zove Prelovac medija , takodje PRELO na nasem jeziku verujem da dobro znas sta znaci (licka prela gde se ljudi okupljaju radi zabave i druzenja), na kraju krajeva ime kompanije jeste bitno ali ne toliko koliko cinjenica sta izbacujes na trziste , primer su banalna imena poput Virgin ,Valve , Team 17 itd. ako bi na to gledali onda ove kompanije zbog svog imena nebi imale nikakvu buducnost u svojoj bransi od strane sirokih narodnih masa :) ,

Congratulations on your first game and the new game company. In my experience, your company name should be a theme targeting the type of games you are going to make. THQ, Sony Entertainment, IMVU, and Electronic Arts are company names that have their own meaning.
There are even points to making the company name similar to IMVU where each letter has a meaning. I dont think any of the names listed pop, and I would suggest going back and looking at more names.
Some ideas to help with a name are maybe the city your company will be based in, the type of games you are planning to focus on, or maybe the genre?

Na nivou korporativnog brendinga - a mislim da je to posebno vazno za globalno sirenje i da ce imati svoju posebnu vrednost na tom polju - Prelovac Games je bez sumnje najbolje resenje. Realno!

To be honest I don't like any of these names. You can either go with a descriptive name like 'learn with fun' or 'little adventurer' or you can go with a single name 'that children can relate to' for example marshmallow!
Just my crazy ideas :)

Other names are not that catchy.
For the title of the game - you can always do what oldie games did :) Peggy & Starky Go Urban :) You could use some action in the title.
