My next project soon to be released will be an application to manage multiple WordPress blogs from a centralized dashboard.
I have chosen managewp.com as the project home, and I am currently making finishing touches to the application.
Everything will be purely WordPress powered and all you will have to do is install a plugin on sites that you want to remotely manage.
Feel free to post any ideas or feature requests in a comment or contact me directly.

I'd really love support for statistics--presumably the WordPress.com stats plugin. Because having a simple line graph of which sites saw a spike yesterday is impossible from the current dashboard...
Very nice idea, will see it through.
Hi - really looking forward to seeing this! Right now a few of the options out there require me to pay monthly but host my details on SOMEONE ELSES site - not what I'd like to do.
It is live now, beta registrations being accepted.
if you use the rtp-xml api you can also post articles to free blog hosts like blogger.com wordpress.com...
Just lovin the positive feedback on here :)
Fortunately, i was lucky to start this project long ago and now i am able to manage any number of wordpress blog from my centralized control panel (obviously, the one supports XMLRPC). Later i ventured into blogger, Posterous and Tumblr and added them in my script successfully.
Now, i can post, edit, delete or even create drafts (wordpress) for any number of blogs from one place. Vladimir if you are looking to add Posterous, Blogger and Tumblr support in your project then let me know.
By the way this project is exciting, tough, irritating but the end result is pretty cool :)
Just subscribed for start notification . Already thinking how much easier will be to maintain my 60 web sites.
Pozdrav,
Zeljko
Can't wait to see this! and get my hands on it!
this will be an awesome tool to use...
my 1 dollar question is, are you going to offer it for free? or will there be a service fee?
Probably none of the above :)
now that's more exciting. can't wait for the surprise.
Does that mean it will be a one time fee?
Sounds exciting. I can't wait to check it out!
While I'm new to WP and creating a network of sites, I'd love this to cover multiple domains, both within a Class C IP hosting arrangement and across several different hosts of Class C IP's for my network. (Reason for this setup is minimizing the footprint I leave that could get the proverbial Google Slap). Thanks!!
Do you mean "multi-server multi-site" management board?
Something like http://jentla.com? but for WP?
Yes I mean multi-server multi-site.
WOW! Great news!
My suggestion is an integration with SugarCRM/Info@handCRM.

It may be a perfect match for creating webstudio oriented (WP centered) CRM.
Also, a reasonable way to do money.
I can't wait - so tired of 40 different logons!

A big thank you to you for all that you've done. This will be a great help. Can't wait for the big blast off.
Hi-
That looks very useful for those who don't already use WPMU to manage multiple blogs, but what about once WP3.0 is released and multiple blogs are possible by default? Is your dashboard intended for people who don't plan to consolidate existing separate installs into a single install?
Cheers!
David
Managewp.com is for people who have tens if not hundreds of blogs on different domains.
Many, many blog networks on multiple domains currently run on wpmu (including ours) and will continue to do so when the codebases merge for WP3.0. I guess I'm just wondering what extra functionality it would offer? Maybe easier for some people to keep separate installations which are commonly updated with your tool but have more customization than would be possible on a single install?
I guess you'll have to see for yourself ;)
I look forward to it. ;) word word
I'm working on a similar project with one-click install / multi-site management, but its scope is very limited. Looking forward to seeing what wonderful tricks you'll implement on this one!
That's a very good news, a great idea. I'm waiting for it for long time. Thank you Vladimir, you're great. Good luck
Vladimir, you have been nothing but a huge blessing to many of us and this will surely solve a lot of challenges for those with multiple blogs.
Keep up the good work!
ps.. make this blue wording on the new site huge so people can see it and know what the site is about " Manage Multiple WordPress Blogs "
A truly great idea Vladimir ! :) !!
it would be great to have some kind of install-templates, where I can define which plugins/settings/themes to be installed when using this install-template. of course, one must be able to define arbitrary templates...
another idea would be "feature-groups" where I can choose from. so a feature-group "memcache" would enable (for example) w3-total-cache with all important memcache settings. feature group "related posts" would install yarpp or some similar plugin.
choosing/uploading default plugins to be installed would be great too, so I am able to deploy my purchased plugins really quick: upload "all in one seo pack pro", connect it to my template(s) and press "update" to deploy it would be nice.
furthermore, I use ssh (with public key authentication) instead of ftp/cpanel or anything else. being able to access the remote installed wordpress installations via ssh would be very cool (but putting my private key on another (your) server is - of course - a show stopper ) :-)
I Can't wait, I love all the other tools and plugins you have made. And I have been looking for a central piece of software to manage my blogs, and most of its crap. Or they want you to pay a mint, and then find out its crap.
Reaaly another great Idea Vladimir...
One very interesting feature in my mind, is the posibility to select what plugins must to be installed on all blog, and istall it on the fly. A tedius labor when install a new blog is to get it ready with basic or essential plugins and configurations.
Greetings
Valentin
Yep, I am working on one click deploy feature.
That is a good idea!!!!!!!!!!
Will there be one login to log into the app - and all your credentials for all other blogs stored in the app, so no logging in into separate blogs?
Yes just the login to the managewp.com. Everything else is stored and will work pretty much with one click. Zivi bili pa videli :)
