This tool looks amazing and easy, but I WILL NEVER USE IT if it does not have SSL or self-hosted.

I WILL GLADLY PAY for self-hosted or SSL. Send me a buy link ;)

I have already signed up for the notifications for self-hosted. Contact me when you have that ready.

I agree, I wouldn't want to provide my blog logins to any third-party site, no matter how trusted it might be. But I'd love to check out the self-hosted option. This could be very useful.

Vladimir, I tried ManageWP for 5 minutes on my company site and it seems like a terrific tool! The self-hosted option is definitely something I'm going to consider for my business.

Ahh..Looks amazing.. Just tried for 2 blogs.. and seems very useful.. One concern is security.. I know you are one of the best WordPress dev and I admire your work.. how about the security of managewp? if it is compromised that means all blogs added by me will be compromised??

This seems like it would be a great service, but as with all things, I'm sure there is a price involved with this. Before I start using the free service, I'd like to know what I'm going to have to pay to keep using it beyond the beta stage, or if I want to manage my entire network.

What will the pricing look like, and for how many blogs (or levels of pricing)? And, do you have a price range for the self-hosted version.

    Thanks!

    Vladimir,

I logged into your new cp for blog management and was thinking before I try your service to ask you about security measures that you are deploying on your server and particularly in the sql with this software. To have my admin username in 2 places and active communications between your service and my sites raises several questions.

I have been reading your blog and articles for several months now and enjoy the great information about WordPress and the softwares and books that you develop/author.

As with all my sites I'm using a limited amount of plugins and try to provide the fastest and most secure environment for my clients and users. I can imagine that the database for your product will become huge over time.

I use project honeypot and the BL scripts and plugin including spam traps and scripts on all my sites to trap harvesters, dictionary attacks and comment spammers very successfully. Please tell me if the methods I'm using are going to interrupt how your new service will work.

I'm assuming that giving my blog credentials to your software grants direct access to all my sql tables and if your server came under serious attack I could also be compromised. Would you consider this to be a true statement?

Thanks for all your hard work and expertise.

I notice that the free subcription gives you a 10 blog maximum. Do you offer a subscription for unlimited or increased number of blogs managed and if so what is the pricing and process required to do this?

    • Jul 8th, 2010

We will open the doors fully in short time - as soon as we can polish the product first. You are welcome to send feedback!

Vladimir, this sounds great, I manage several WP sites myself (personal, company and clients) and separately logging into each one is a pain!

Will try this service out verry soon!

ManageWP.com so far looks totally brilliant. I love how you built the site itself out of WordPress.

    Vlad (and all readers),

it there a tool to mass setup blogs? As far as I understand is ManageWP for already set up blogs, so I am interested in a tool (preferrably self hosted) to set up lots of blogs (WP3, WPMU). Any hints?

    • Jul 7th, 2010

We hope to support (mass) blog setup in the future. Self hosted version will be available as well. Stay tuned!

    • Jul 7th, 2010

Mike, check with your host to see if you have installatron or fantastico in your control panel. The famous five minute installation becomes one minute with those... and I've never had any side effects with wordpress per se.

        Colin,

I operate my hosts/server completely without fantastico, cpanel & the like, so i need a dedicated tool. :-/
