We both looked at each other in amazement, but the bird climbed away much faster than I ever could and vanished in the sky above.....Later came the PPL for single engine planes and an IFR rating to use the plane for travelling, but that propeller takes away most of the the joy of flying. It must have been a rush. When my son was 18 and the day after he graduated from High School he took me up for a plane ride.
