New Wordpress plugin SEO Friendly Images

Vladimir on March 1st, 2008

I have released my new Wordpress plugin called SEO Friendly Images. This plugin will optimize images in all your posts for SEO which will positively affect your image search results resulting in more traffic to your blog.

I got inspiration for this plugin after I noticed that image searches are on the second place of all hits for my blog from search engines. I do have lot of images but I also tried to describe them well. Well sometimes I forget to do that and since SEO seems to be the most important thing today since sliced bread this is where SEO Friendly Images kicks in.

It will automatically fill in alt and title tags of images using post title, image name and any other keywords you select.

To read more about it, head on to SEO Friendly Images plugin page.

  1. Sounds like a really useful plugin. I will download it and try it for my galleries.

  2. I just posted an article on Athority Blogger Forum about how my #2 visited page was one titled ‘Pictures Category’, and that was without this SEO.

I can’t wait to see the impact of even more visits.

I’ll let y’all know the impact in a week or so.
