And I read several articles about obesity in the web, and there are people who died of cardiac arrest and many other complications. And I do not want to be vain, but I really do get sad whenever I look into the mirror and all I could see is my saggy self. It is also hard to have a girl when you are obese. So I studied nutrition in the web, find some readings, and I followed the advice of the experts and it worked.I have a girlfriend now, and we regularly go to the gym, and we eat healthy foods and I could say that my life is way different now than before.I know that becoming fit is not the absolute answer for a person to be happy, but we all know that it is a major key...

No more food chains after I have watched the documentary film Super Size me. I for one re-discovered a love for cycling. having not been on a bike for 20 years, I had a go on my daughters and thought wow! I can do this. Now we cycle everywhere and the weight is falling off.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Most of us are in a constact state of low grade dehydration. Definitely being properly hydrated is a key to feeling your best, looking your best etc.

Drinking water is a huge part of being healthy. Although there are some who would argue that water should not be mixed with food, but they are not in the weight loss business and have their own agendas regarding optimizing health. But mealtimes is not the only time overweight people eat--they often snack between meals or even late at night. It has a lot to do with how they handle the emotional stress and yes, perhaps they would cut down on the amount of food they snack on if they drank water, but there's generally no need for them to take a drink with a candy bar unless it's a soda and then they drink diet soda which makes them gain weight.

Yes, drinking water is a secret sauce and most any weight loss specialist would agree with you. And of course, it's a double whammy, because water is essential for good health anyway.~ James

Hi Vladimir,

Sounds like a very effective habit you got into when you were younger!
