WordPress 2.5 upgrade

I upgraded today to new WordPress 2.5 from my old version 2.3.3. The update went painless although I use a lot of plugins and took just around half an hour to complete. I recommend using the Automatic Upgrade plugin which should save you a lot of trouble. I have also updated my plugins, SEO Friendly Images, Theme Test Drive and Smart YouTube to new WP 2.5 design. Frankly I do not fancy it a lot, somehow I got used to the old one, specially the dashboard but time will tell.

What’s hot in tech right now

What’s hot in tech right now
Past few weeks I have discovered some very cool things to play with. I don't have so much time on my hands right now so I thought I'd share them and hear some opinions. Asus EEE PC 900 This very cool device is an ultra-portable laptop with 9" screen, Intel Pentium M 900MHz processor and a 12GB sold state drive. It's very small size makes it ideal to carry around almost all the time, and it comes equipped with wireless connection.

A Tribute to Commodore

A Tribute to Commodore
Recently I found some interesting videos on youtube from the Amiga time, and the memories just kept coming. I am a member of a generation that started out on a Commodore 64 in 1985, moved to Amiga in 1990 and only bought a PC when I had to, in 1996. The time spent with Commodore computers marked my childhood but also me as a person. Those were some wonderful times and this is a tribute to them. Elite on C-64 This is the game that got me sucked into the computer world.

My First Parachactue Jump Video

My First Parachactue Jump Video
When they find out I've jumped from 4,000 meters a lot of people asks me how was it. I always tell them it is something that can not be described. I have entire video footage of the event and I decided to put it online. The happening took place in Austria, courtesy of mr. Kapl who is an experienced jumper. I was there on a trip with three friends and eventually he convinced us it's something we should not miss. We opted for tandem jump in which you jump attached to an instructor.
