Impending demise of Google world

I have been convinced lately that the current development strategy of Google will ultimately lead to it's demise. While I do not have anything with it, it is interesting to analyze the key elements that brought Google to where it is now, and how do those elements stand today. In the beginning... End of 1990's were very interesting times to be on the Internet.

Interested in Ireland

After my plans for travel to Cayman islands failed, I am turning my attention to another travel plan - Ireland. I am big fan of Irish music and culture and a member of "Celtic Crew" Belgrade, basically a society for promoting Irish and Celtic tradition in Serbia. This goes more then 10 years back and I've been looking for an opportunity to visit Ireland ever since. It could be happening this May, a friend of mine and I have started planning the trip.

How I didn’t go to Cayman Islands

Past few days an interesting turn of events happened. I learned about a freediving course organized by Performance Freediving on Grand Cayman island. Not only it was something interesting that I wanted to do, but also it was taking place on a far and exotic island. I knew it was going to be expensive traveling from Europe to Grand Cayman but I was so excited about the whole idea, I started planning it. First was to check the air tickets.

Why is Facebook worth more then Ford and AMD combined

When couple of months ago Microsoft bought 1.6% of Facebook for $240 Million it gave the world the idea what is Facebook really worth. Simple math gives you a figure of $15 Billion. About the same day the entire market capitalization of Ford was worth $13 Billion. We have a 100 year old company, which gave automotive industry more then any other company in the world, which has immensely long tradition, huge number of factories and employees on one side.
