I like flowers as much as any woman, but I still prefer the blue. But more important than the cover is the content inside, and for that I offer my congratulations and best wishes!

Thanks for all the votes guys, your support has been fantastic.

And the winner is... flowers! :)

Seems that the publisher will still go with the flowers, company policy towards nature etc.

And I love the nature, so go flowers!

Congrats on the book deal. You definitely have information worthy of publishing. When is the release date?

Blue gives a sense of dynamism yet firm. Design elements give a tech feel as well.

I'm sorry, I see no representative ideogram in both covers.

I like the flowers. Why? Because the blue cover looks like every other software manual in the world. How boring. Even flowers are boring, but better than the blue. Anyway, I just found your site -- it was very useful, and I bookmarked it. :)

Problem with the Blue cover is that the word "Development" is hidden with the colour swish...

I'm going with Bram, the flowery one is more appealing to the newbie out there. The blue one says 'I know some stuff already!'

The flowers catches my eyes more (partly because I'm a girl?)
but if I see flower cover I'll think it's a photography book :)
Why not WordPress official logo to target audience? (copyright issue?)

The blue one looks like plug-ins.
A visual of an abstract anyway.
    Good work.

surly the blue one! flower has no connections with WP and plugins ; )

Personally I prefer the blue version, because it's much sleeker and more appealing to me. Since I'm a developer myself that might be the target audience. However, if this book aims at the amateur class out there I would suggest the one with the flowers as it's slightly more accessible, the warm colors give you the feeling that the book will be 'easy' to understand, whereas the blue version gives a more professional, advanced kind of feeling.

Don't know wether or not you're interested in my ramblings but I thought I'd share ;)
