Jim and Hosehead: How DARE you! The environment is precious. Every bug could be my father! Every flower could be the next pope! How DARE you fire up those carbon logs - it's just wrong. Peace, Love, and a change of underwear - that's all we really need. I'm going to drive my electric car home now. And wash my clothes on stones. Who cares if I stink? I'll be just like the European bastards! Ooops - sorry, sorry, must love my brothers.

    Namaste!

Jim - you're right on. Global warming is a liberal fantasy. Al Gore profits from carbon credits. He refuses to debate real scientists. Global warming is real, but there's no evidence that it's happening now. Fire up the carbon logs, Martha!

Hunt and Fish: Loved your response. What a bunch of losers. Wah - the planet's overheating. Bunch o' crap. Remember El Nino? No one talks about it, but it's still here. We're in a cycle, morons.

Simply marvelous. I love the image of the Black Sea. I live in Varna. It is located on the west coast of the Black Sea. A beautiful place!

Greenland, not Iceland... recalling 4th grade history, when the Vikings named it... they were trying to fool everyone? They called Greenland, the ice covered one, that name so everybody would go there. They called Iceland, the green one, that name so nobody would go there...

The first Liberals apparently, kings of disinformation and calling things what they aren't for convenience or expediency.

Suggest shutting off your computer, disconnecting the internet, shivering in the dark, and leave the normal people alone.

Nice looking pics, photoshopped, but who doesn't use it? Though I agree with many of Tarrith DoUrden's statements it would be hypocritical of me to start ranting about how much people are destroying the earth. I have to drive to work everyday, I'm sitting at my energy using computer, there is multitudes of different gadgets and gizmos throughout my home that require electricity, same as everyone else. At this time it would be quite literally impossible to live without many of our electronic toys and gas guzzling cars. We are doing the best we can as a species to correct the error of our ways and though it may not seem like it, things are getting better. Anyways, nice pictures.
Oh...and the one labeled "iceland" is actually Greenland.

I think it is great we have the knowledge of what our beautiful planet looks like as a whole.
But photoshopped or not, these pictures highlight the serious problem of light pollution. Just one issue which if tackled could move us a tiny step towards a sustainable future, before we plummet in to darkness due to overuse of fossil fuels.

I do think, however, that insulting Tarrith DoUrden by calling him/her a capitalist pig is hilarious... don't think it's quite the right ideology.

What Chris said.... looks like Greenland to me.

I wonder what would be the reasoning behind faking this photos?

    And what about Meg Ryan...

I always "thumbs down" sites like these when Stumbleupon sends me to them. These doctored pics are lame. Beauty and fake beauty aren't the same thing. Ask Meg Ryan.

    eejad,
I quite agree with most of your comments, yet I find it somewhat cynical, that you can slam the "civilized" nations, for their contempt of global reasoning, while you have the luxery of sitting at your globally positioned hi-tech computer to tell us what a bunch of SOB's they are.

    Great shots BTW..

Have your say
