.....The Earth is going to be fine. It's us, the humans, that won't. The earth was fine for billions of years before we came along. I'm pretty sure the earth will overcome whatever mess we throw at it. We are but a small infection to this earth, and we will be gone from this world in what would be the blink of an eye to the lifespan of the earth.

The ignorance of the children commenting on this website is atrocious. That picture is of Iceland, which anyone could tell by observing its shape. All of these photos have been generated by goggle earth, meaning any of them that show the earth from a distance farther than low orbit are computer generated images. which is why Iceland is a very cold, mountainous place, and is covered in ice in the winter. Much of the country is covered by volcanic ash and there is little foliage that is visible from high altitude even when it is photographed in the summer.
People seem to have spelled words incorrectly, such as anonymous and absolutely. This is revolting. There is also a little shit who seems to think that Global warming is a "scam" This is the worst bit of deception on the entire page.

I love the pictures, and a lot of the comments have given me a good laugh. The place everyone keeps calling Greenland looks an awful lot like Iceland to me, at least on the maps I have, but then again maybe those are "fake" too. I do believe Vladimir got it right though. ;) Thank you by the way for posting these, and the other pictures too; they are amazing photos!! And I would hope that people could appreciate the beauty of Nature, and yes the beauty of mankind, we're not all bad. Mankind doesn't just destroy, but create, and if I'm not mistaken Mother Nature does the same, what a coincidence! :)

Eventhough I'm 10 I still appreciate the earth. I found the images really open your eyes to how beautiful the earth is.

Ever been on a plane? You can see where the water is shallow versus where the water is deep, it's where the ground drops away. That's the only thing I see in that picture, the coastline and sandbars associated with small islands. Quit pretending that you have any idea of what you are talking about.
The only thing is that iceland is actually all grean and greonland is actually all ice
