All of these photos have been generated by goggle earth, meaning any of them that show the earth from a distance farther than low orbit are computer generated images. which is why Iceland is a very cold, mountainous place, and is covered in ice in the winter. The place everyone keeps calling Greenland looks an awful lot like Iceland to me, at least on the maps I have, but then again maybe those are "fake" too. I do believe Vladimir got it right though. ;) Thank you by the way for posting these, and the other pictures too; they are amazing photos!! And I would hope that people could appreciate the beauty of Nature, and yes the beauty of mankind, we're not all bad.
