I hanged my tie on the wall almost a year ago and decided going lone ranger for a while. This got me into the wonderful world of WordPress and everything that came afterward, including the book I am writing on WordPress development. Today I had a meeting for a partnership offer in a soon to be big media company.

Retrospective of the first year online with cool stats pictures
It has been precisely a year since I started this site, on my birthday, 26th October 2007 with this post. It was also a day when I quit my regular job and started pursuing my personal quest. I was charmed then as I am still now with this new and magical world of blogs, unparalleled communication and connection between people throughout the planet. That really opened my eyes and I jumped from topic to topic, from day to day, discovering new, exciting  things.

Busy as a Bee
Two weeks passed since my last post. And I haven't been traveling, enjoying sports or any type of hedonism. I've been busy like a bee with work. Sounds familiar? All too familiar? I have a strong feeling that this is a period that will pass. That I have to somehow withstand only this one killer year of setting my own business straight and after that everything will be fine and relaxing. I am wondering if that is really true. The work seems to accumulate at an amazing pace.
