While being really rich opens you the opportunity to influence the world quicker than usual, there are no other apparent benefits and lot's of things the richest guy in the world can do are also available to you. And these are not just some random things, but the most important things in the world.
1. Sleeping
No matter how rich, he probably won't have a much better sleeping experience then you do. So you are already covered for about third of the time you live. By 'covered' I mean you have the same benefits as being the richest guy in the world.
2. Have kids
Kids are life's biggest treasure, and no matter how rich, he can't be better than you in having kids. This also means that whatever money he has to spend on their education they may or not turn out to be better people than your own kids. It all comes to the parent and the world's richest guy's money provides him no edge there.
3. Sports
Chance is you are probably in better shape to do most sports than the world's richest guy. And sport is about the healthiest activity you can be doing in this world. You may not have access to the Royal Golf Club of England, but do you really care?
4. Hobbies
Hobbies are small pleasures that make you happy, like fishing, your garden, drink beer with buddies, collectibles and other rituals. And you don't need a lot of money to have hobbies. World's richest guy's hobby can be luxury cars but does it really matter what is it that makes you happy as long as it makes you happy?
5. Work
This is a tricky one. Rich guys have more options, but if you are in position to do what you love you are already there. It doesn't matter if you are a fireman or a stock broker as long as you live your dreams.
6. Friends
Your friends are your second treasure and they have been with you through both good and bad periods. The best thing you don't have to spend a cent to make a friend. And chance is money is more likely to make you enemies anyway.
7. Laugh
Need I say more?
8. Help others
Helping others is about as noblest thing as you can do in life. Though, more money allows you to help more people, but I am really having difficulty counting rich people who devoted their lives to helping others rather than to get richer. So, if you help others your are probably doing better than most rich guys already.
9. Integrity
You can also call it pride, dignity, character. It is what defines you as a person. Again, here money is more likely to only get in the way.

Quite rightly said Vladimir, I think these are some basic things in life which make us happy and when you are a big guy you are parted far away from these.You are spot on with the point that there are very few rich people who help people by heart most of them do this just for the heck of it.
But Bill Gates is definitely making big efforts with Gates foundation.

But money does not make them better at it
Being good at it is benefit to the partner. Thus getting more is more beneficial for you, and being good or bad at it does not really matter :)

Believe me or not I had even tested a theme that had this GUI on my test blog [self-hosted; but it was not exactly similar]. I will tell you if I find the name of the theme. I deleted it, alas and do not recall the source!
Not sure about this post. I live among many millionaires (although I'm not one myself yet!) and noticed the following:
- They have alot of free time during the day, I guess that's called delegation.
- Menial tasks like shopping, cooking and cleaning are done by others.
- Holidays and hobbies are great, I've joined some on their boats and cars and loved it!
I would say though, they are some of the most boring people I met. I guess with no real hard life experience, it's difficult to enjoy the simple things. I also noticed they are the most "tight" in terms of spending money, which I guess explains you don't get rich by spending money!
I hereby challenge Bill Gates to a "rock, paper, scissors" contest. I think I can easily beat him. I'll be practicing over the Thanksgiving holiday and should be ready by the beginning of December.
