Just returned from wandering around Greece for past seven days or so and there is a place so fascinating that words simply can not describe. It is called Meteora and I invite everyone to visit it. It has the magic of Petra in Jordan and more... Enjoy the pictures.

as I remember meteora was one of the most fascinating places I've ever been.
Obviously you was out of tourist season. I was over there on a a school excursion during a peak of the season and I was very disappointed how that peaceful, spiritual place was destroyed by tourism.
I was most annoyed with that shawl women in pants, shorts, or other clothes took, it looks so pathetic, it isn't monastery anymore no matter what they pretend to make it look.
