WordCast Appearance

I do not know about you but whenever I check my feed reader (I use Google Reader btw) the amount of posts that awaits me easily exceeds a thousand. Out of fear for this every time I just postpone reading my feed for couple of days and thus create even worse situation. So it is very tough to enter my feed subscriptions nowadays but one site did it recently.

It is called WordCast and features a weekly podcast about WordPress news. The cheerful trio that leads the show, Beth, Dave and Kym are very knowledgeable and create a very good and fun to listen episode every week. In the last one that went over 70 minutes long, almost half of that time was taken by truly yours, and you have opportunity to hear my never-ending ramblings about WordPress. After you are done be sure to check the WordCast mug contest. Alas, here is my entry :)

A WordCast fan? You know it! We got an great comment from a listener about the interview recently.

"Vladimir Prelovac…what’s there to say? This guy is crazy about WordPress and the interview was more than great. You should check out his website (http://www.prelovac.com/)… there’s really good content on it. I found especially this article helpful - WordPress Ping List (http://www.prelovac.com/vladimir/wordpress-ping-list) (check out the Codex for more information). (http://codex.wordpress.org/Update_Services)

Another thing that Vladimir mentioned was the theme repository. Actually Matt (Mullenweg) spoke about this on the WordPress Weekly Podcast Episode 17 with Jeffro… I think what Vladimir is looking for might be coming soon."
