Today I released the "WordPress Optimization Guide".

The document is a comprehensive guide to WordPress optimization and performance. If you ever experienced slow WordPress site or WordPress admin panel crawling to a halt, this is the guide for you.

"WordPress Optimization Guide" collects my experiences but also experiences of other users of WordPress throughout the Internet into an easy to follow tutorial.

It's all about speed, speed and more speed. Read on "WordPress Optimization Guide".

Thanks for the awesome tips. I was looking for a new db-backup plugin. The last one I found didn't work with my host. WP-DBManager is fantastic.

And I had been wondering how to turn off Post Revisions. Great feature, but I don't really need it. ;-)

Hi, I'm a 14-year-old running a little news-site/blog about computer hardware and general tech. Sooner or later I'll be moving from Blogger to WordPress hosted on a little web server that I'll be building. Until I learn more from this site, that is. You can find the blog at http://yertech.blogspot.com/ .

Hi to all--Thanks again for your generous feedback, Vladimir. I removed most of the Squidoo links and added back my tag cloud as i thought this would give the reader a more accurate search of my topics.
I have downloaded this tutorial for the future.

You have the most amazing eye for photographs. That is an art also. I used the Flickr widget for all my WP.com sites of the most interesting 10 photos daily and rarely see ones as good as the ones you use. Photoshop would be a good hobby for you. I believe our joy is in our creativity. The older I get, the more I want to play. Being an adult is so boring.

    Thanks again, Kathy
